The Swedish Film &TV Producers is a Trade Association representing approximately 110 independent production companies involved in the production of film, documentaries, TV programmes and commercial films in Sweden.
The association was established in 2009 through the merger of the Swedish Film Producers Association, the Swedish TV Producers Association and the Swedish Association of Commercial Film Producers.
The objective of the Association is to represent and promote the commercial interests of its members and works, andto create the best possible business environment for produsing and exploiting film, TV programmes and commercial films.
The Association works for political influence in relation to Public Authorities and Institutions, broadcasters and copyright organizations, and assists members with legal advice regarding contracts and agreements.
The Swedish Film &TV Producers Association serves its members on a number of committees and boards. The Association is a member of FIAPF- the international film producers' federation, AGICOA - the producers' international copyright organization, CFP-E - the European federation for commercial film producers, and CEPI - the European federation for TV producers.
The Swedish Film &TV Producers Association's Office is situated at Filmhuset in Stockholm.
